Vihtavuori N570 Rifle Powder

Vihtavuori N570 rifle powder is a high-energy propellant developed specifically for magnum cartridge reloaders. As one of the newest additions to Vihtavuori’s high-energy powder family, N570 delivers the performance demanded by long-range shooters, military applications, and reloaders using large-volume cartridge cases.

With its large grain size and high bulk density, N570 is designed to produce maximum velocities in cartridges such as the 6.5-284 Norma, .300 Winchester Magnum, .300 Remington Ultra Magnum, and .338 Lapua Magnum.

N570 is the slowest-burning powder in the Vihtavuori high-energy series. This extruded tubular powder features grain dimensions of 23 mm in length and 13 mm in diameter. Due to its large kernel size, similar to 24N41 and 20N29, always weigh N570 charges rather than relying solely on powder measure throws, which may not deliver consistent charges. Properly weighing charges helps avoid undercharging or overcharging cases.

Like all Vihtavuori N500 series rifle powders, N570 is manufactured using high-quality nitro-cellulose. Its grains are impregnated with nitroglycerine and non-energetic additives to provide increased muzzle velocity without increased chamber pressure or additional firearm wear.
