Vihtavuori N340 Smokeless Handgun Powder

Vihtavuori N340 smokeless handgun powder is a true multipurpose propellant, originally developed for 9 mm and shotshell loads. As one of the most popular powders in the Vihtavuori N300 series, it is suitable for a wide variety of calibers and bullet weights, making it an excellent choice for many reloading applications. N340 is especially well suited to medium and large caliber pistols and shotshells using medium and heavy loads.

N340 is a tubular powder with grain dimensions of 10 mm in length and 0.8 mm in diameter—the same grain size used for N320, N330, and N350, with porosity providing the difference between powders. Its burn rate falls in the medium range of Vihtavuori handgun powders. Like N320, N340 delivers exceptionally clean burning performance with virtually no residue.
